Easter Sunday Lunches In Cornwall

Easter if fast approaching and what better way to celebrate the day by spending it with family and friends and tucking into a delicious Sunday lunch.

There are plenty of spots to get excited about, with special menus being delivered during the day with comforting food.

The Scarlett

The Scarlett restaurant looks over Mowgan Porth beach, with stunning views of the sea and surroundings. Their menu is always changing with the seasons, creating fresh and exciting dishes to try all year round.

It’s an adult only hotel, meaning that a peaceful and stress free experience awaits you.

The Scarlett’s Easter lunch menu allows you to eat as little or as much as you would like. Many dishes allow you to order them as a starter as well as a main.

The menu is bursting with amazing flavours. From starters such as warming soup, salmon, grilled mackerel to mains with delicious dishes to choose from. There’s also a vegetarian option of potato and herb gnocchi or red gurnard with watercress risotto.

There’s lovely sides to choose from such as duck fat potatoes, broccoli, potato puree and green salad.

When it comes to desserts you won’t be disappointed. Ranging with all kinds of flavours, you will be tempted with a number of desserts such as the sorbet, treacle tart, white chocolate mousse or their amazing cheese board.

This Sunday tuck into delicious starters such as their comforting cream of artichoke soup or the handpicked white crab ‘fritters’.

The restaurant’s mains include a variety of dishes from succulent beef with trimmings to potato gnocchi, perfect for vegetarians.

For dessert enjoy perusing the menu filled with tasty treats such as; dark and white chocolate cardamom tart or blackcurrant crème brulee, bursting with springtime flavours.

Finish off this lovely meal with a freshly brewed coffee or English tea served with delicious Cornish fudge and truffles.

The Fowey House

Spinnakers Restaurant is a beautiful spot, to dine in style. The menu ranges all year round, filled with delicious dishes with phenomenal flavours from the use of locally sourced ingredients.

This Sunday, Spinnakers is offering Sunday lunch for £22 per person. Bring the whole family along because it’s going to be a fun afternoon. There will be story telling in The Wind in the Willows garden, Easter Egg hunts and decorating! There’s also a great children’s menu, a great family experience awaits you.

The three course menu provides a lovely selection of great dishes. For starters, pick from four tempting dishes from smoked duck and orange salad to tian of prawns and smoked salmon. Spinnakers is also offering a tasty selection of goodies to end the meal with, from trio of chocolate, a huge variety of ice cream and more.

The Rosevine, Truro

The Headland Hotel, Newquay

The Headland Hotel is the perfect location to bring the family for a classy lunch with sea views.
