The Mermaid Seafood Restaurant 

You can find The Mermaid in the old fishing quarter. Stroll along cobbled streets and admire the beautiful flowers surrounding the area.

The Mermaid began as a ‘Sail Loft’, homemade lemonades were bottled and stored here. You can find the old bottle collection in The Mermaid, displayed above the bar. The restaurant also has links to the many tunnels from behind the bar, to the harbour!

The restaurant is popular for its fresh and delicious seafood dishes. There’s plenty to choose from, including meat and poultry as well as vegetarian options.

Blas Burgerworks

This small restaurant hidden within a narrow street is a real treat in St Ives. Be greeted by chargrilled burgers, made from Cornish meat, naturally reared and free range.

All of Blas’ burgers come with tasty fries and a whole range of yummy options to choose from. There’s loads of meaty choices, and vegetarian options such as their bean burger to get stuck into. There’s also other options such as chargrilled local fish, tortillas and mouth-watering desserts.

It’s super cosy and fills up fast - so if you’re waiting around there’s loads to explore. From beautiful beaches to a visit to the hustle and bustle of the harbour – save the ice creams until later though!

Harbour Fish and Chips

If fresh and delicious dishes are what you’re after – you’ve come to the right place. Harbour Fish and Chips serves simply tasty meals for the whole family to enjoy. The fish is supplied by Mathew Stevens of St Ives, a local fishmonger since 1948.

It’s a real British treat, filled with lots of fish to choose from and a great selection of sides, dips and goodies. There’s also a fantastic selection of drinks available, including creamy Lavazza coffee.

Sit in within the modern café or simply takeaway and eat your food overlooking the beautiful harbour - just look out for the seagulls!

Firehouse Bar and Grill

Located in Fore Street, you’ll find Firehouse – a great experience awaits you. This buzzing atmosphere, paired with the great views across the rooftops of St Ives overlooking the harbour is the perfect spot.

Serving a whole range of delicious food including: chargrilled steaks, fresh local Cornish Seafood pizzas, chicken and vegetarian options. You will be spoilt for choice, with the range at Firehouse.

If you fancy a cocktail, The Gin Bar is ideal for a quick get-together or a drink to top off the evening. Not only that, Firehouse offer teas and coffees for a break during those afternoons of exploring the town.
